With the installation of Discussion Site on a dedicated server, a complete set of message files is again being maintained On-Line. For your convenience, messages and related index files are available as downloadable zip files. Indexes to previous messages are available only as zip files. All the message index files are in one zip file. Download it first and then download the zip files containing the messages as required. The message files are in bundles of 1000 messages, from 0 to 10999 (11 zip files). They must be unzipped into a directory called "messages" under the directory containing the index files for the links in the index files to work properly. During June it is planned to port the entire site to a database application, after which time messages files will no longer be archived. All messages going back to 1997 will be integrated into the database.
